Our Commitment to Diversity

Guy Carpenter strongly believes that a diverse workforce is the best way to create new ideas that enable our firm to continue leading the industry in performance and talent management. Having diversity of thought in our workforce and encouraging different perspectives helps Guy Carpenter develop new strategies to meet our goals and grow our business. The establishment of best practices in diversity and inclusion is among Guy Carpenter's key business mandates, and it is embedded in our firm's overall philosophy and daily responsibilities.

Colleagues across Guy Carpenter's regions and business units are involved with our firm's diversity and inclusion initiative. Our Executive Committee is committed to this effort and has empowered the firm's dedicated GC Diversity Council to support this culture and promote a diverse workforce. Additionally, our commitment to diversity is exemplified by the creation of internal colleague-led Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). The Women's; Young Professionals; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT); and Racial and Multicultural groups are community-focused and allow colleagues to have a dedicated forum for discussion and networking. These groups are open to all colleagues to allow for better understanding and integration across the organization. To further these goals, the GC Diversity Council and the individual ERGs regularly take part in industry events dedicated to promoting diversity.
